Extension of SNAP, TANF, and Medical Assistance Renewals - SNAP, TANF, Medicaid, and PeachCare for Kids® benefits due for renewal in March, April, May and June 2020 have been extended by 6 months.
Note - If you attempt to complete an online renewal for SNAP, TANF, or Medical Assistance in May or June, and you don't see an online renewal link, your eligibility date has likely been extended. If you have already received a notice that your renewal is due, you can disregard it. You do NOT have to submit a renewal at this time. You will receive a new notice when your renewal is due. Please note that this extension does not apply to the CAPS program for childcare assistance.
Due to the COVID-19 state of emergency, PCK premiums will be waived effective with the March 1, 2020 payment for April coverage. Waivers will be provided for all premium payments until the last day of the month that the COVID-19 emergency is declared over. Any premium payments that are received during this time will be applied to cases ongoing after the waivers are no longer provided, per DCH Policy Memo of 3/25/2020 'Medical Assistance Terminations/COVID-19'.
